HTP Apprenticeship College is delighted to have once again achieved People 1st Gold Accreditation for the outstanding quality of the Apprenticeship training support we provide to the hospitality industry and wider visitor economy across the country.

As part of the assessment process inspectors spoke to local and national employers, apprentices past and present and the highly experienced sector delivery team at HTP Apprenticeship College. Employer testimonies were obtained from a wide range of organisations which demonstrated the exceptional levels of support the organisation provides for individuals and employers.

Our Apprenticeship success rates remain significantly higher than those achieved by other training providers, and during the assessment apprentices from all areas of the industry explained how an Apprenticeship with HTP Apprenticeship College had helped them start and progress their career.

Rachael Randall, Principal and Chief Executive, said, “This award comes at an important time for HTP Apprenticeship College. As the organisation continues to expand we are extremely proud to have received this level of external recognition for the consistently high quality training and support we provide for Apprentices and the employers working in the industry.
HTP Apprenticeship College works with a growing number of large, national businesses – however we remain committed to supporting business of all sizes and have been actively involved in the development of the new Apprenticeship standards for the sector which offer a wealth of new and exciting development opportunities for people at all levels of business.
I remain firmly convinced that Apprenticeships are the perfect career pathway for anyone wanting to start or further their career in this diverse, exciting industry – they also enable businesses to attract, develop and retain people who are right for their organisation. ”
