This half-term, don’t miss your chance to get a real insight into Professional Cookery Apprenticeships on the Isle of Wight.
Learn how it’s really done from star Island chefs including HTP’s Jon Paul Charlo.
If you’re thinking about a career as a professional chef, there’s no better way to get a real taste of life in a working kitchen.
Our own star chef Jon Paul Charlo brings a wealth of experience from his work in many leading kitchens including Chewton Glen in Hampshire and The Royal in Ventnor.
Jon Paul leads our Professional Cookery Apprenticeship course, so if you’re in school years 10-13, why not join us at our Riverbank campus for a taster day with him and other expert chefs?
You’ll learn new skills, pick up the buzz of a busy kitchen and discover how an Apprenticeship can be the start of a great career in this exciting industry.
You’ll see professional cookery equipment and how it’s used – you’ll also help prepare a fantastic lunch (and eat it!). You’ll create a dessert from scratch, which you can take home and show off, as well as a real chef’s apron – which you can keep!
It’s a fun day, with hands-on activities, an introduction to food safety and lots of insights into the reality of the business. Like all our courses at HTP Apprenticeship College it’s rooted in real life workplace experience, delivered by experts, along with impartial careers advice and guidance.
Numbers are limited and with only 12 places per day and it’s first come, first served. Start your dream career in the kitchen by signing up now!
