Nail Technology Enhancements Full-time course
“Working with nails is creative and always different.” The CourseQuestions?Love nails? If you want to pursue a career in Nail Technology – this is the course you need to get started.
If you’ve got an interest in nail art and would like a career in a beauty salon or nail bar, we can get you started. You’ll learn how to repair, paint and decorate client’s nails as part of our one-year course at our Riverbank Campus in Newport.
It’s a great way to get into a growing industry. Nail technicians also often work in places like people’s homes or leisure facilities like gyms, hotels and spas. This course could even be the first step to running your own business.
We’re a very different education provider. With much smaller group sizes, our super-friendly team will support you every step of the way. You’ll gain exciting new skills and start to plan your next move – whether it’s continuing with Further or Higher Education, or into a job with an Apprenticeship.

Our groups are typically just 5-8 students
What would I be doing on the course?
You’ll learn to apply artificial nails, create nail art, and learn to promote your services and give customers a great experience. You’ll also study for an industry-recognised qualification.
How long is the course?
This course runs for one academic year – starting in early September and ending in mid-July.

Nail art is one of many skills and areas of knowledge you’ll learn.
Can I start after September?
It’s important to start the course as soon as possible, and there is a minimum number of weeks attendance required. However, subject to your circumstances, it may be possible to join the course up until October half-term.
Do I need any qualifications to apply?
No. You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications to learn with us – just a desire to try new things and get your career started.

“HTP is different and it isn’t overwhelming. I didn’t do very well in big groups, so I’m less anxious here.”

The Nail Technology course runs at our Riverbank Campus in Little London, Newport
