Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale. The IIP Assessment Report recognised HTP Apprenticeship College as: “delivering the highest quality learning and services, tailored to meet the needs of learners and employers.” Derek Milliner, who conducted the assessment, praised the employee trust and engagement plus the strong leadership within the organisation. He said: “The level of engagement with members of staff is outstanding, whether it is the planning process, change initiatives or simple housekeeping issues.” He added: “The ethos of HTP drives a passion in all members of staff to deliver the best they can for the learners, resulting in a highly motivated workforce. Overall HTP has a strong and experienced leadership team that has fostered a culture of mutual trust and motivated people to be the best they can possibly be.” All employees contacted completed the online IIP assessment and the IIP Practitioner interviewed a number of staff members. Their responses helped place HTP firmly in the top quartile of UK organisations. Staff told how they are supported to be the best they can possibly be. One revealed: “I am certainly encouraged to raise the bar on performance.” Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate HTP Apprenticeship College; Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success.
