ERMC are looking to grow their existing team and add an enthusiastic, passionate person that truly wants to gain new skills and wants to become an integral part of their team in the future. Within this role you will be learning how to become a Business Administrator as a member of the ERMC Estates Team.

No experience is necessary as you will be provided with thorough training throughout the entire Apprenticeship which will enable you to build on your knowledge and skills to be successful in this role.

 

What’s Involved/Duties:

The following are the core responsibilities of this job role and what you will be working toward being able to do, by the end of the Apprenticeship you should be proficient in all of these, occasionally you may be required to carry out other tasks dependant on factors such as workload and staffing levels:

  • Being the first port of call for Estates enquiries via telephone and email, triaging to the appropriate team member
  • Produce accurate records and documents
  • Maintain the resident database
  • Assist with resident communications including annual estate invoices and letter
  • Communicating with suppliers to procure quotations for work
  • Assist with data entry relevant to do with Estates
  • Assist with site visits and resident meetings
  • Collate information required on new site handovers
  • To be an ambassador for ERMC at all times, promoting our work when and whenever possible.
  • Be a proactive member of the team, developing and promoting ideas of ways to improve the operation

Training Provided:

  • The successful candidate will be working towards the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
  • Candidates will need to have achieved maths and English at GCSE or equivalent Grades A-C (9-4) or Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English before completing the Apprenticeship standard.
  • Off the job training will be provided, where you will have the time to complete your portfolio work, attend off job training seminars and have allocated time for mentoring and being shadowed.

 

Expected Apprenticeship Duration:

  • 16 months
  • This post is a fixed term contract of 16 months with the potential to move on to Full Time Employment should the business be able to facilitate this.

 

Hourly Wage:

  • Dependent on Skills and Experience
  • 39 Hours a week (Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1pm)
