Isle of Wight Youth Trust is an independent local charity working in the local community for over 30 years, delivering confidential, professional counselling, therapeutic and wellbeing services for children and young people. Their work increasingly extends to preventative work, education and training on mental health, as well as advocacy work in seeking to influence improvements to mental health services on the Island.

As the Digital Marketer and Youth Engagement Apprentice, your training and experience will include
- GCSE in English and Maths, a qualification in a relevant subject, for example media or IT.
- Excellent IT skills, using Microsoft Office 365, use of digital platforms and social media
- Effective and confident written and verbal communicator.
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Accurate, with attention to detail
Please note: This role involves regulated activity with children and young people and is subject to an enhanced plus barring DBS check. Anyone on the Barred List for working with children and young people is legally barred from the role. The successful candidate will undertake a DBS check and any offer of employment made is conditional subject to the assessment of their criminal record (and other pre-employment checks).

Hourly Wage: £9.50 per hour – National Living Wage
