The Tomato Stall has teamed up with HTP Apprenticeship College to offer four exciting Traineeships where you will be able to join their dedicated team. Successful candidates will then be given the chance to progress into employment and an Apprenticeship.

 

1. Online Distribution Operative

Be a part of the Packing Team for our Online Orders department based in Ryde. Prep the fruit boxes and pack all product together to be sent out via courier to our customers.

Duties

  • Daily prepping of fruit
  • Daily packaging of internet orders
  • Reporting of any issues to the supervisor
  • Organising of stocks
  • Maintaining cleaning standards

2. Production Kitchen Assistant

Supporting our operations team in all areas of product management and manufacturing. The role requires a motivated individual with a positive attitude to work, flexible approach and the ability to embrace the changing requirements of a growing business.

Duties

  • Supporting our operational team with manufacturing fresh tomato products
    e.g. roast tomatoes, drying, put in oil, support product development
  • Ensuring all quality standards are being met
  • Assisting in stock control
  • Working responsibly and safely in this food production environment
  • General housekeeping, ensuring cleanliness and product safety is maintained

3. Warehouse Production Operative

Supporting the production team, with all areas of packing fresh produce. The role requires a motivated individual with a positive attitude to work, flexible approach, and the ability to embrace the changing requirements of a growing business.

Duties

  • Ensure orders are packed within time constraints
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene in all packing procedures
  • Notify team leaders of any potential problems
  • Maintain knowledge of customer specifications
  • Embrace on-job training to reach full potential of team efficiencies

4. Logistics and Dispatch Assistant

Working within a small team in all areas of the movement and dispatch of goods. Having a flexible approach and the ability to embrace the changing requirements of a growing business is essential.

Duties

  • Booking Orders
  • Generating paperwork
  • Driver and Van routing and communication
  • Preparing pallet orders and shop orders for dispatch.
  • Loading vehicle ready for dispatch.
