Please note

The situation regarding Covid-19 precautions may change at any time. We will endeavour to provide the latest information affecting training for our students and Apprentices as soon as we can, but please also follow any current government or NHS guidance.

RAPID MASS TESTING

HTP Apprenticeship College has not been identified as an organisation required to undertake Rapid Mass Testing, and therefore students attending Riverbank Campus will not be routinely tested.

Any students who experience COVID-19 symptoms must continue to follow government guidance as normal, including immediate self-isolation and should book a test through the nhs website or by calling 119.

Full-time students

Training

A very warm welcome back to all of our Full-time Course Students at Riverbank Campus in Newport.

Apprentices

Apprenticeships continue as normal.

Off-the-Job training sessions will be put in place in due course

Visits to the workplace will be allowed, as will visits to and testing at HTP centres

if you have any queries regarding your workplace or training arrangements, please speak to your Training Consultant.

Academic tests for students and Apprentices

On-campus tests are continuing as normal.

Apprentices

Work and Training

Apprentices should continue to work and train as per the arrangements in place for your workplace prior to the Christmas break. Visits from your Training Consultants will continue remotely or in-person as appropriate.

End Point Assessments

Apprenticeship EPAs are continuing, unless individual apprentices have been notified otherwise.

Exams for apprentices

All Functional Skills exams that were due to take place this week have been cancelled.

Full-time students

Training

HTP full-time students identified as vulnerable return to campus for in-person training from today. All other Full-time students to train remotely for the week.

Exams for students

All exams that were due to take place this week have been cancelled.

BTEC Exams cancelled

Following official advice received late yesterday evening, all BTEC exams that were due to take place from today and for the rest of the week have now been cancelled.

Apprenticeship End Point Assessments are continuing, unless individual apprentices have been notified otherwise.
