Say hello to our newest member of staff. She’s friendly, experienced, approachable, an inspiration to young learners… and she likes eating hay… and the occasional apple.

Learn and work with her at Trotters

The newest member of our team, Amaretto is loving her new home and new job with HTP Apprenticeship College’s Equine Department. Why not come and meet her and look into our Horse Care & Riding courses?

Amaretto will be supporting new HTP students working towards their Horse Care and Riding Level 2 Diploma. She is stabled at Trotters Riding School in Ryde, where HTP’s new cohort of students will be able to study and care for Amaretto as well as learn to ride her.

Students will become familiar with her eating and drinking habits, understand horse feeding and watering, the importance of safe and comfortable tack including tacking up, and choosing correct tack. They will also learn to assess land and stables to make sure she is comfortable and well cared for, along with riding in the school, out hacking and jumping.
