How can HTP help us recruit new staff?
HTP will help you employ an apprentice, completely free of charge. We take the Apprentieship job description and person specification if appropriate from you and then advertise the opportunity for you using the national Find An Apprenticeship website, our own website, as well as local job boards and social media. Potential candidates may also be found from those who have already contacted us looking for support in finding the right Apprenticeship for them.
What about upskilling our existing staff?
Apprenticeships are no longer just for young people starting out on their career. Apprenticeships are an excellent way for people already employed, who are looking for career progression to gain valuable skills, knowledge and qualifications – anyone can be an apprentice as long as they are learning new skills. We will come and meet with you and plan possible training plans for individuals or groups of staff.
Which awarding bodies does HTP work with?
HTP Apprenticeship College works with many of the leading awarding organisations. These include City & Guilds, BIIAB, Institute of Leadership and Management, Pearson, YMCA, NOCN and WSET.
Does HTP offer bespoke training solutions?
Yes. In addition to Government funded programmes, HTP offers bespoke training solutions for all the sectors we work with. Recently these have included Customer Service workshops, Equality and Diversity, Management and Food Safety.
