What can I do after this Apprenticeship?
Overview
Business Administrators work in small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services.
What will I learn?
During your Apprenticeship you will develop strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and learn how to apply your initiative, manage priorities and own time, problem-solve, make decisions and develop others through mentoring and coaching. You will also develop your IT skills and knowledge of packages to enable you to create proposals, perform financial processes and analyse data. As part of your training you will gain the knowledge and skills you need to take responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, managing priorities to meet deadlines and make recommendations for improvements in working practices.
How will I be assessed?
Throughout your Apprenticeship you will work alongside your Apprenticeship Coach to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours you need to meet the requirements of the Standard. To ensure you are making progress your Coach will provide continuous assessment and provide you with regular feedback. On completion of your formal training you will demonstrate what you have learnt through a multiple-choice test, an interview based on your portfolio of evidence and a presentation based on a project you will have undertaken during the last 3 months of your Apprenticeship.
