Customer Service Specialists act as referral points for dealing with more complex or technical customer requests, complaints and queries. Roles and responsibilities include gathering and analysing data, providing customer information and improving services. Typical working environments include contact centres, retail outlets and a wide range of service industries.
What will I learn during the programme?

During your Apprenticeship you will gain a wide range of knowledge and skills which relate to the customer journey. You will develop a deeper understanding of your organisation’s business strategy, leadership styles, creating customer loyalty, retention and satisfaction and how to manage challenging and complicated situations in a way that supports positive customer outcomes.

How will I be assessed?

During your Apprenticeship you will work alongside your Training Consultant who will provide continuous assessment and feedback to ensure you develop the knowledge and skills you need to successfully complete your apprenticeship. On completion of formal training you will have the chance to demonstrate what you have learnt through practical observation, a work based project and interview and a professional discussion based on the portfolio of evidence you have created during your Apprenticeship.

What can I do after this Apprenticeship?

On completion of this Apprenticeship you will be able to progress onto a management apprenticeship by undertaking either the Advanced Apprenticeship in Team Leading & Supervision or Higher Apprenticeship in Operations/Departmental Management.
