What can I do after this Apprenticeship?
Overview
This Apprenticeship will enable you to develop the skills you need to be successful as an HR Manager. This role is likely to include handling day to day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business and working with the business on HR changes. You will also be providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues in line with company policy and employment law.
What will I learn?
During your Apprenticeship you will gain a good understanding of all HR disciplines, legislation and an excellent working knowledge of HR policies and procedures. You will develop an understanding of the external market and sector it operates in, its challenges and issues. In addition, you will gain a deeper knowledge of HR systems, management data and understanding of how technology impacts on the business and HR. On completion of your studies you will be able to provide tailored business centred HR advice and make sound judgments to ensure the business operates within the boundaries of employment law and resolve escalated people issues.
How will I be assessed?
During your training you will work closely with your Apprenticeship Coach to ensure you develop the skills and knowledge you require to completed your apprenticeship. On completion of formal training you will demonstrate what you have learnt by completing a presentation with questioning, undertaking a professional discussion and a final assignment (Final unit of the Associate Diploma in People Management)

- To achieve the standard, apprentices must meet the required off-the-job training hours and be working at or above the occupational standard (KSB’s).
- The requirement to undertake English and Maths is optional for apprentices aged 19+.
- The requirements for apprentices aged 16-18 to undertake English and Maths is dependent on their prior attainment.
