Overview
What will I learn during the programme?
Throughout your Apprenticeship you will be learning new knowledge, skills and behaviours. These will include developing techniques for the preparation, assembly, cooking and presentation of food. You will also gain an understanding of nutrition and how to adapt dishes to meet the dietary, religious and allergenic needs of individuals. As a Production Chef you will be communicating with colleagues, line managers and customers and during your programme you will gain an understanding of customer service principles and how you can help to ensure customer expectations are met.
How will I be assessed?
Throughout your Apprenticeship you will work closely with your HTP Training Consultant who will provide continuous assessment and feedback to ensure you successfully complete your Apprenticeship Standard. Once you have completed your formal training you will demonstrate what you have learnt through a multiple choice test, practical observation and professional discussion.
