The aim of the NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Business is to inspire and enthuse you if you are considering a career in the Business sector. We will help you develop a broad knowledge of the sector as well as the opportunity to develop a variety of practical and technical skills required to progress onto an Advanced Apprenticeship in a wide range of job roles. You will learn about working in a business environment, business culture and responsibility, communicating in a business environment and project management.
What would I do on this course?

The units you will cover are:

  • Business culture and responsibilities
  • Produce documents in a business environment
  • Work with others in a business environment
  • Communicate in a business environment
  • Contribute to running a project
  • Manage and improve own performance in a business environment



During this qualification, you will carry out tasks/assignments throughout the course of the academic year. Your tutor will assess and mark these and you will receive feedback as to how you are getting on.

Would I always be in the classroom?

The qualification is classroom-based although we will also arrange work experience for you with a local employer to help give you a real insight into this type of work.
