Overview

Do you want to help make a real difference to the future of our planet? Maybe you’ve been inspired by the work of great conservationists like Sir David Attenbrough? This new year – branch out in a new direction with our specially designed Creative Conservation Programme based in and around Newport. On this engaging and fun programme you’ll be mainly outdoors, with some time spent on campus to help build the related skills you need to make your important efforts even more effective. It also includes valuable work experience. Not only will you be gaining new knowledge and practical skills in a woodland environment, this is also a great way to grow your confidence and self-esteem, while boosting your communication abilities and your personal development.

Would I always be in the classroom?

No. This is a predominately an outdoor activity programme, and there is associated classroom work around the completion of the units and the development of Maths and English if required. Work experience is also part of this programme to identify and support your future career choices.
