Overview
What will I learn during the programme?
During this 24-month programme you will gain a wide range of new knowledge and skills to enable you to plan, design and deliver effective learning and development programmes which meet individual needs. You will gain an insight into the theories and practices which engage and challenge learners to ensure that the learning process develops individuals to be highly effective within the workplace and in the community. You will also learn how to develop and use inclusive learning resources including current and emerging learning technologies. Assessing the progress of learners is extremely important part of the LST role and therefore as part of your Apprenticeship you will develop the knowledge and skills you need to carryout a wide range of initial, diagnostic and summative assessment techniques.
How will I be assessed?
Throughout your Apprenticeship you will work closely with your HTP Training Consultant who will provide continuous assessment and feedback to ensure you successfully complete your qualifications and apprenticeship standard. Once you have completed your formal training you will demonstrate what you have learnt through a professional discussion, online presentation and two teaching observations.
