Overview

The retail team leader role is dynamic and involves a variety of different functions including guiding and coordinating the work of the team to complete tasks, identifying and exploring opportunities to drive sales and ensuring team members maintain business standards. This apprenticeship will help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to gain the most from your team on a day to day basis, ensuring they are fully trained and work effectively and to the best of their ability.
What will I learn?

During the Apprenticeship you will develop you knowledge of customer profiling, purchasing habits across the retail calendar year and the best ways to drive the team to increase sales, secure customer loyalty and attain business targets. You will gain the skills you need to act as a role model to champion excellent customer serves, always looking to improve the customer experience through a welcoming and professional approach which builds strong customer relationships. You will also gain a deeper understanding of how actions can contribute to the overall financial performance of the business by planning and monitoring resources and ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to ensure consistent brand standards are delivered.

How will I be assessed?

Throughout your Apprenticeship you will work closely with your Training Consultant who will use continuous assessment and feedback to ensure you develop the knowledge and skills you need to successfully complete your Apprenticeship. On completion of training you will have the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt through a multiple choice test, completion of a business project and professional discussion.
