Overview

A team leader/supervisor is a first line manager with responsibility for operations, projects or managing a team. This apprenticeship will help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to support, manage and develop team members, manage projects, resolve problems, and build relationships with colleagues and customers in both the public and private sectors.
What will I learn?

You will have the chance to study a wide range of subjects as part of your Apprenticeship, for example project management, finance, time management and decision making in addition to gaining the skills you need to lead and manage a team effectively.

What does the ILM Level 3 Diploma for Managers cover?

This Diploma is ideal for professionals taking their first step into line management, or those with some experience with managing a team or project. During the programme you will develop a range of essential management skills and build your leadership capabilities to motivate teams and influence with confidence. How will I be assessed?

During your Apprenticeship you will work with your Training Consultant who will use continuous assessment activities to help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to successfully complete your training. On completion of your formal training you will demonstrate what you have learnt by delivering a short presentation followed by questions and answers and a professional discussion based on a portfolio of work created during your apprenticeship.
