Skillsometer is a tool that helps you figure out what jobs you might enjoy in the future. You’ll see different statements and all you have to do is pick the emoji that matches how you feel about each one. Then, it’ll suggest jobs that match what you love doing the most.

How it works: Activities will appear from different topics, such as ‘Creative’, ‘Investigative’ or ‘Realistic’. Keep answering whichever activities interest you the most – especially if you strongly like or dislike them – until the progress bar underneath is full. You will then be presented with those topics on the left hand side, ranked in order of your interest level, and next to them, a list of possible careers based on your ranking. Click on each job for more information about what’s involved, typical wages and hours etc.

CareerOmeter is a handy tool that lets you check out and compare important info about different jobs to help you think about what careers might suit you. Plus, it gives you a quick summary of what the job is all about.
