What an honour!
HTP Apprenticeship College has been honoured with the King’s Award for Enterprise 2025, one of 197 organisations nationally to be recognised with the prestigious award.
For ‘Promoting Opportunity’
The award is in recognition of the Careers For Young People programme, delivered in joint partnership with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The initiative, founded in 2022, offers 16-18-year-olds a direct route into a wide range of NHS careers and has already been recognised with a Nursing Times Award and HSJ Partnership Award.
“It’s incredibly exciting to be recognised with a King’s Award, the highest honour we can achieve as a business,” says Chief Executive Rachael Randall. “When I founded HTP back in 2000 I always wanted to help young people on the Island to learn and to progress their careers, creating new opportunities. To be honoured with a King’s Award for our partnership with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – which is all about pathways for young people and creating jobs – is a wonderful moment in our 25th year. I couldn’t be more proud.”
The King’s Awards for Enterprise recognises outstanding UK businesses and is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
